NAME

dorade_plot_cost − plot output from dorade_diff_magn

VERSION

2

SYNOPSIS

dorade_plot_cost < file
cat file1 file2 ... | dorade_plot_cost
dorade_plot_cost --help

DESCRIPTION

This application plots results from dorade_diff_magn. It takes output from dorade_diff_magn as standard input, usually stored in one or more files. The abscissa is azimuth shift, the ordinate is the corresponding cost. Plot labels give the radar name and times of first and last sweeps in the volume. They also give the optimum azimuth shift. If input provides results of several runs of dorade_diff_magn, several plots will result. Left and right arrow keys move the display from plot to plot.

MENUS

The File menu has the following selections:

Range

This selection prompts user for the ordinate range. If several plots are present, it should be set to a range that makes space for all plots. Note that the maximum and minimum cost for all volumes is printed to the terminal when all input is read.

Export

Exports the current window to a portable network graphics (png) file using the ImageMagick convert application, which must be installed.

Quit

Exits the application. Control-q does the same thing.

REQUIREMENTS

dorade_plot_cost is a Tcl/Tk script. It uses the BLT extension to make the plot. ImageMagick is required to save plots to files.
